2,000 sf new house. Existing structure was largely demolished and gave way to a new house built on the existing foundations due to a combination of local zoning ordinances and budgetary issues. A distinctive feature of the house was achieved through the use of continuous clerestory windows at the top of the exterior walls, making the massive roof appear to be floating or unsupported.
