Edwin Castrillon

Edwin Castrillon joined NDKA in 2009, also having worked with Nickolas Kazalas at the architecture firm of Herbert Beckhard Frank Richlan + Associates. Edwin has played an integral role in the design and development of every major project the firm has undertaken.
Edwin’s keen understanding of the complex NYC Building Codes and Zoning Ordinances; combined with his strong, deep-seated design sensibilities, has continually demonstrated a profound ability to embrace the city codes and utilize them as an advantage, not as a hindrance. Edwin works side by side with the firm’s principal, from the early stages of conceptual design, to construction detailing and through the construction phase, as part of team effort to assure the spirit of each design is realized.
Edwin earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, and has enjoyed being invited as a guest juror at his alma mater.
